I’m Philippe Alexandre. From my office in Vankleek Hill, I help clients in Alexandria buy a home, renew a mortgage or explore refinancing. Service is available in English or French.

Recognizable names. A wider choice.

Three local branches. More mortgage possibilities.

I stopped outside Desjardins, BMO and Scotiabank during my Alexandria visit. I work with these institutions through their mortgage broker channels and can help determine whether one of their mortgage options fits your situation.

Your options extend beyond the branches in town.

I also work with many lenders without a physical presence in Alexandria. They may offer competitive rates and programs worth considering. Together, we can compare the available choices based on your finances, the property, borrowing costs and the flexibility you need.

Purchase · Renewal · Refinance

Buying, renewing or refinancing in Alexandria?

01

Purchase

Send me an Alexandria or North Glengarry listing. We can discuss your budget and down payment, then identify property details to review before you take the next step.

02

Renewal

Before accepting your renewal offer, we can compare it with available alternatives. The rate matters, along with the terms, prepayment options and possible costs of switching.

03

Refinance

Considering renovations or another use for your home equity? We can explore the possibilities and weigh borrowing costs, potential penalties and the effect on your payments.

A competitive rate. Terms that fit your plans.

For an Alexandria purchase, renewal or refinance, the interest rate is one part of the decision. I help you compare available options against your budget and plans.

Compare costs and flexibility.

We can look at the rate, payments, prepayment options and any fees or penalties that could apply if your plans change. Those differences matter when you might move, renovate or pay down your mortgage faster.

Consider your complete situation.

Your income, debts, credit history, down payment or equity, and the property influence the options available. I explain what information to prepare and which details need to be confirmed with the lender.

A few local stops

A few familiar stops around town.

My mortgage advertisement is displayed at Home Hardware, where I also left business cards. I dropped off business cards at Canada Post, then stopped for a coffee.

A straightforward first step

A few questions you may have.

Wondering which options could fit your situation? I can help explain the differences and make your next step clearer.

What is the difference between a purchase and a mortgage renewal?

A purchase mortgage provides financing for a property you are buying. Your down payment, finances and the property are considered together. A renewal happens at the end of an existing mortgage term when a balance remains. You can accept new terms from your current lender or compare options from other lenders. The term is the length of your current mortgage contract; amortization is the planned time to repay the loan.

Is your office in Alexandria?

My office is at 15 High Street in Vankleek Hill. I serve clients in Alexandria, North Glengarry and across Eastern Ontario, with phone, virtual and in-person appointments available as needed.

Do I need to complete an application before contacting you?

No. Call, text or send a short message first. A question about a listing, your renewal offer or your next step is enough to begin. I’ll let you know when an application is useful.

Can you help with lenders that have no branch in Alexandria?

Yes. My lender access includes institutions with local branches and lenders without them. We can compare the options available through my brokerage for your circumstances and property.

Will I have to visit a branch to sign documents?

Many document steps can be handled remotely where the lender allows it, and I can help coordinate them. Signing and closing arrangements depend on the lender and the legal professional handling your transaction.
